The heat was overwhelming during August. Add in the California fires (nowhere near us, thankfully) and the hurricanes (there's a hurricane Kate apparently?) and it's been not-so-fun weather time. The end of June had some minor issues (more below), so this is a few days late. I know I owe a response or two to my last one, but it's been difficult to do much beyond work and the minimum upkeep on everything else.

June overall was pretty much same old, same old. Yes, I'm fully vaccinated (and so is my wife), but I don't trust people, and news of the Delta variant making its presence known in Los Angeles has me still masking up when I go out.
